Unsurpassed Safety

Like the mines that use the DynaBolter, safety is of the utmost importance.  The DynaBolter provides unsurpassed safety by literally putting the operator in the driver's seat.  From the safety of the cabin, the operator is able to control all functions of bolt installation; this keeps the operator away from loose back and the bolters moving mechanical parts.


Intuitive Controls

The DynaBolter's easy to learn controls makes training new operators effortless. This allows employers to maximize the potential of each employee, and minimize the machine's downtime.  To create such an easy operating system the DynaBolter uses dual joystick controls along with an on board LCD operation screen to guide the DynaBolter operator while providing real-time diagnostics.



No matter the size of the machine, each model of the DynaBolter has been built with versatility in mind. By providing a low profile chassis, with a boom that can swing around corners, the DynaBolter allows the operator to navigate through restrictive mines with low backs and tight drifts.


Multiple-Bolt Carousel

Another key feature of the DynaBolter is its multiple-bolt carousel, which helps to improve efficiency and increase safety. Improved efficiency is achieved by decreasing the time needed to reload after each bolt is installed, while safety is improved by allowing operators to install multiple bolts without needing to leave the safety of the cabin.


Automated Epoxy Injection

For mines that require it, the DynaBolter can be equipped with an automated epoxy injection system.  Similar to the other functions of the DynaBolter, the epoxy injection system provides the operator the ability to load and inject the epoxy from the cabin of the DynaBolter.  To ensure the proper injection of the epoxy, the DynaBolter has a smart check system that requires specific conditions are met before allowing the operator to fire the epoxy.  The system includes an arm switch and fire button that prevents accidental discharge of the epoxy.


Dynamic Boom

The DynaBolter's boom uses a cat track for electrical cables and hydraulic hoses to provide added protection for parts and allow for smooth boom operation.  Whether it is a head that rotates 90 degrees to create maximum clearance, or boom that stows the head on the back of the chassis, each boom design is mindful of keeping the DynaBolter as versatile as possible.

DynaBolter: The Roof-Bolting Solution

The DynaBolter started like many of the manufactured products at DynaIndustrial, as a solution to a client's problem. The difference with the DynaBolter is that it is a custom solution to a common problem.

The Problem

Since the start of time mankind has mined, and from the beginning mining has been synonymous with danger. Throughout the years miners have improved processes, and techniques to improve mining safety, but even with these improvements miners still face risks every day.

One process that has been developed to improve mine safety is the practice of roof bolting.  As ore is removed from the mine, it leaves behind a weakened back (roof) that, without additional support, will collapse.  To combat this problem and prevent the back from unexpectedly collapsing, mine personnel will install roof-bolts.  The process of roof-bolting, though it ultimately improves the safety of the mine, is risky for those workers installing the bolts.

Traditionally roof-bolting has been done using stopers or drill tractors.  This technique requires the worker to stand underneath unsupported back while drilling up into it, which puts the worker at risk of being hit with falling debris or worse.

In many mines the safety issue has been solved by using semi-automatic roof-bolters.  The problem with this is that most roof-bolting machines are either too big or they still require some degree of manual operation which keeps the workers underneath loose back.

Our Solution

We at DynaIndustrial wanted to develop a machine that would improve the safety of roof-bolting, while being efficient and easy to use. What we developed was the DynaBolter. 

After a quick read through the DynaBolter's features, we feel most will agree that it is a machine designed, engineered, and manufactured with every thought given to the well-being of mine workers. The DynaBolter provides many of the same functions as a large semi-automated roof-bolter, but does so with a low profile that is usually only seen with manual bolters.
